2030 Leadership Initiatives

NFF and the Churchill Memorial Trust Fellowship

The National Farmers’ Federation (NFF) and the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust (The Trust) have joined forces to provide an exciting opportunity for two aspiring agricultural leaders.

Applications are now open for the 2020 round of Churchill Fellowships, a unique award that supports people from diverse backgrounds to explore best practice anywhere in the world for up to eight weeks.

Over 100 Fellowships are awarded each year, however in 2020 two recipients interested in agriculture will also receive additional mentoring, networking and development opportunities from the NFF as a result of this exciting collaboration.

The selected Fellows will be supported by an industry mentor to refine their project concept, and gain the opportunity to share their findings at key industry leadership events.

Applicants interested in being considered for this specific Fellowship should review the Roadmap and 2019 Report Card when developing their project concept.

We strongly encourage everyone in our network to consider applying for the Fellowship or promoting this fantastic opportunity via your networks.

2030 Leadership Program

The National Farmers’ Federation (NFF) runs the 2030 Leadership Program in conjunction with the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation (ARLF).

The Program aims to develop the participants’ leadership capabilities in critical thinking, persuasion and influence, negotiation, facilitation, and communication across a range of scenarios.

It also facilitates a deeper understanding of the shared leadership challenges and opportunities faced by Australian agriculture.
