The NFF’s 7 December 2012 submission to the Transport, Housing and Local Government Committee consideration of the Heavy Vehicle National Law Amendment Bill 2012, reiterates its support for the establishment of a single national system of laws for heavy vehicles. NFF suggests that as an ongoing concern, any changes desired by State’s should be delivered through a national process, with adequate review mechanisms made available for this purpose.
