Our Impact

Since 1979, the National Farmers’ Federation (NFF) has been the national voice of Australian farmers.

Through our federated membership, we represent the interests of Australia’s farm businesses, bringing together commodity organisations and state farming organisations to advocate for a productive, sustainable and profitable future for Australian agriculture.

For nearly half a century, we have worked to ensure farmers have a strong and respected voice in Canberra, influencing decisions that affect farming businesses, families, regional communities and the nation’s food and fibre supply. Our purpose is simple: to lead Australian agriculture and help create the conditions for farmers to succeed.

The work continues

The challenges facing Australian agriculture are constantly evolving, so too is our work. Whether we are advocating in Parliament House, influencing national policy, developing future leaders or building public trust in agriculture, our focus remains the same: To ensure Australian agriculture remains productive, sustainable and profitable for generations to come. Because when Australian agriculture succeeds, Australia succeeds.
