The NFF’s 1 November 2013 submission to the Heavy Vehicle Compliance Review consultation provides a response to the various recommendations made by the National Transport Commission. The NFF highlights the need for better practices aimed at encouraging, promoting and enforcing compliance within the heavy vehicle industry. To ensure efficiency and minimal imposition on businesses, the NFF believes that each area of regulation should be regularly visited, particularly those surrounding the use of heavy vehicles.
