Our team.

The National Farmers’ Federation (NFF) team is made up of highly skilled and experienced professionals who are dedicated to advancing opportunities for Australia’s farmers and agricultural communities.

Drawing on expertise across policy, advocacy, communications, sustainability, economics, trade, workforce development and stakeholder engagement, the NFF team works to represent the interests of Australian agriculture. Our people are committed to ensuring farmers have a strong voice in the decisions that shape the future of the industry.

Amanda Tankey

General Manager I Governance & Corporate Services
Amanda joined the NFF team in 2012 and has a broad range of experience in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors in the areas of agriculture, transport, education, health, and human resources.

Ashleigh Whittaker

Coordinator | Media & Communications
Ash joined the NFF team in September 2024 and lives on a sheep and cattle property in Southern Queensland’s Balonne Shire. Ash has experience in rural communications, journalism, and media. She loves sharing farming yarns with consumers.

Bec Wilde

Manager | Leadership & Events
Bec brings a background in design, coordination and implementation of national ag events and leadership programs as well as experience in the not-for-profit and financial industries. Hailing from Central West NSW, Bec is passionate about building the capability and relationships between individuals, businesses and government in the industry.

Charlotte Wundersitz

General Manager | Trade & Economics
Charlotte joined the NFF team in 2022 and has a background in law. Originally from a broad acre cropping farm in South Australia, Charlotte has previously worked as a policy analyst for Grain Producers SA.

Chris Young

Director | Trade Diversification
Chris joined the NFF team in 2022 and has managed both the Rural Affairs and Trade & Economics portfolios. He is currently managing a short term project to promote agricultural trade diversification. Chris has a background working in agriculture, with a focus in the livestock industry.

Chrissy Kerin

Senior Policy & Project Officer | NRM
Chrissy joined the NFF team in May 2024 and comes from a broadacre farm in Western Australia. She has spent several decades working in natural resource management, agriculture and communications, for both government and not for profit organisations.

Claire Lowe

Program Coordinator I AgCAREERSTART
Claire joined the NFF team in 2025 and recently completed a dual degree in Agricultural Science and Agribusiness. Growing up on a family farm in FNQ, Claire always knew she would be in the agriculture industry. She brings a passion for all things youth and agriculture and looks forward to building the next generation within Australia’s most important sector.

Guy Nicol

Senior Policy Officer I Trade & Economics
Guy joined the NFF team in September 2023 and is a graduate from the Australian National University; studying a Bachelor of Environment and Sustainability majoring in Environmental Science and Agricultural Innovation alongside a Bachelor of Design. Guy is passionate about agriculture and natural resource management.

Jen Medway

General Manager I Partnerships, Projects & Events
Jen joined the NFF team in 2022 and is a fifth-generation farmer from the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales. She has a background in agricultural policy, stakeholder engagement and community leadership, delivering initiatives that connect and support Australian farmers.

Liz Bulley

Executive Assistant
Liz joined the NFF team in April 2024. Prior to joining the NFF, she worked in the private and public sectors in a number of policy, project and finance areas. Liz grew up on a farm in the Monaro and now owns a property in the Brindabellas.

Louise Hegarty

Industry Skills Officer
Louise, originally from rural Co Limerick in Ireland, joined the NFF team in March 2024. Louise has worked in various organisations in Ireland, the UK and Australia with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement and skills development.

Michael Pyers

General Manager | Workplace Relations & Legal Affairs
Michael joined the NFF team in 2025 and has over 30 years experience both in Australia and internationally, living and working extensively in the Middle East and Asia  for oil and gas and manufacturing industries, and his own consultancy business. Michael has extensive experience with industry associations.

Mikaila Lipinski

Senior Engagement Officer | Farmsafe Australia
Growing up in the picturesque Fleurieu Peninsula, Mikaila found her love for all things agriculture. Mikaila comes from a Human Resource background, on both National & International levels and specialises in Blue Collar sectors. She is a passionate advocate for future proofing Australian Ag and educating youth to the endless opportunities within the industry.

Mike Guerin

Chief Executive Officer
Mike’s career began with two decades in banking, culminating in corporate agribusiness, as Managing Director of Elders Rural Services. He has experience in large-scale corporate governance, capital markets, and complex stakeholder management. He was subsequently appointed CEO of AgForce, where he built a strong reputation across the NFF federated family and played a central role in national reform workshops. Mike joins NFF after his role as Acting CEO for NSW Farmers.

Richard Shannon

Executive Officer | Hort Council
Richard joined the NFF team in September 2022. From growing up on the family farm on the northern Darling Downs, Richard has built a career and reputation as an industry advocate and public policy professional, working across agriculture, trade, renewable energy, healthcare innovation and Indigenous education.

Stacey Davidson

General Manager | Media & Communications
Stacey joined the NFF team in February 2022. Growing up on a sheep and cattle property in outback South Australia, she followed a career in regional journalism across the state. Stacey has run her own copywriting business specialising in agriculture and regional Australia.

Stevi Howdle

Executive Officer | Farmsafe Australia
Stevi joined the NFF team in March 2020, taking on an ambitious three-year project to overhaul the branding and organisational structure, bringing Farmsafe into the modern era to serve Australian farmers better.

Tim Bradley

Project Manager | AgCAREERSTART
Tim joined the NFF team in June 2025, bringing with him a strong background in agriculture and education. Tim is deeply passionate about inspiring and supporting the next generation of agricultural leaders. He believes in creating meaningful pathways for young people to enter and thrive in the industry, whether they come from farming backgrounds or are discovering agriculture for the first time.

Tonami Deed

Senior Policy Officer | NRM
Tonami joined the NFF Team in March 2023 after graduating from the Australian National University with a Double Degree majoring in Sustainability Studies and International Relations.

Warwick Ragg

General Manager | NRM
Warwick was raised on a farm in the NSW Southern Highlands and has over 35 years experience in rural and regional advocacy. Prior to joining NFF Warwick had been working in the Commonwealth Government in stakeholder engagement roles and had previously spent a decade with NSW Farmers' Association and a further decade as chief executive of Australian Forest Growers.

Zac Rayson

General Manager I Rural Affairs
Hailing from a small farm in NSW’s Manning Valley, Zac joined the NFF in 2024. Zac has a background in media and is passionate about mental health, sustainability, AgTech, and increasing diversity in agriculture.
