The National Farmers’ Federation (NFF) and Westpac will today jointly launch the Blueprint for Australian Agriculture at Parliament House in Canberra.
The Blueprint is an opportunity for all within the agriculture sector to contribute to setting the future direction of an industry that generates $155 billion in production, and to raise the issues they believe will need to be addressed to ensure a strong and sustainable future for the farming sector.
The launch will take place at 10am this morning outside the front entrance to Parliament House (on the grass at the authorised assembly area) with NFF President Jock Laurie and Westpac Agribusiness Chief Executive Graham Jennings in attendance.
They will be joined by a local farming family from Harden, Matt and Bronwyn Ryan and their daughters, Jessica and Annabelle.
Media are invited to attend and interview and photo opportunities will be available.
