The National Farmers’ Federation (NFF) Diversity in Agriculture Leadership Program will mark an important milestone at tonight’s 2026 graduation ceremony.
The twelve women graduating tonight will take the program’s total alumni to 101.
NFF CEO and former program mentor, Mike Guerin, congratulated this year’s participants for their drive.
“This cohort has shown exceptional energy, intelligence and grit,” Mr Guerin said.
“I hope they are as proud of themselves as we are of them.
“They more than deserve their place in the top echelons of ag leadership. In fact, their seat at the table is overdue.
“I’m thrilled that the women we’ll celebrate tonight will put the number of program alumni at 101.
“It’s a testament to our industry, to our amazing program partners, and to the dozens of women who’ve put their hands up.”
The Diversity in Agriculture Leadership Program was created in 2018, with a vision to double the number of women in agriculture’s leadership ranks by 2030.
2026 participant Sam Pritchard said the program helped amplify her voice.
“Without the support of the National Farmers’ Federation, my voice would have continued to be lost amongst the many.”
“I am humbled to be part of this incredible cohort of women, and grateful for the opportunity this program has given me.”
Fellow participant Kylie Stretton said it was rewarding to watch the cohort grow.
“We draw so much energy from each other, and seeing others back themselves has given me the courage and confidence to do the same.”
“That’s been a really special part of the program for me.”
