The National Farmers’ Federation (NFF), is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Head of Marketing and Communications. The NFF represents farmers and, more broadly, agriculture across Australia and is one of Australia’s foremost and respected advocacy organisations.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Head of Marketing and Communications will work closely with the NFF’s senior executive team, including the President, Board of Directors, and Members.
This senior role is multi-faceted, but primarily will be responsible for developing and implementing influential marketing and communications programs to raise awareness of, and build support for, NFF issues and policy positions. You will drive a high profile media campaign for NFF’s agenda, and will engage with representatives in the Parliamentary Press Gallery as well as national, state and local media.
Ideally, you will be an experienced marketing and communications practitioner with a sound knowledge of media, federal politics, and public affairs. You will have previous experience, ideally in an industry organisation, in developing and building a national brand management strategy. You will be a strategic thinker and a proven driver of communications and marketing campaigns.
