The NFF’s April 2012 submission to the Government’s Energy White Paper reinforces the importance of access to relatively low cost energy in order to bolster our international competitiveness and ensure food security. The NFF urges Government to continue to focus on the important issue of fuel and energy security, which is so important to the long term competitiveness of the agricultural sector.
