NFF Submission on APVMA’s draft 2027-28 Cost Recovery Implementation Statement (CRIS)

The NFF acknowledges the CRIS reflects a significant shift in government policy, to recover the full cost for all fee-for-service regulatory activities upfront and reduce levies charged on AgVet chemical products. While the NFF supports the APVMA being sustainably and appropriately funded, the NFF is deeply concerned that this major policy change risks establishing a serious impediment to the registration and sale of AgVet chemicals in Australia.
