Australian farmers are very much aware of the importance of responsible chemical use, including the need to ensure that off-target pesticide spray drift does not cause harm to people, the environment or Australia’s international trade. The NFF is supportive of a flexible regulatory approach that minimises spray drift risk, is practical to implement, and supports the effective use of, and continued access to, agricultural chemicals.
