Animal Welfare

The NFF has zero tolerance for animal cruelty. Our main aim is to improve animal husbandry and to develop best practice for production animals.

Biosecurity

The NFF recognises Australia’s biosecurity system is fundamental to the success of our agriculture industries.

Climate Change

The NFF recognises that climate change poses a significant challenge for Australian farmers. As a nation, we must act to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

The NFF represents the farming sector in addressing key workplace issues such as annual wage decisions and chronic labour shortage.

Trade

The NFF understands the success of Australian agriculture is heavily linked to international trade. More than 70% of our farm production is exported.
