The Diversity in Agriculture Leadership Program (DiALP) is the flagship program of NFF, designed to increase representation of women in leadership ranks of Australian agriculture.
A scholarship program investing in the future Ag changemakers who are focussed on innovation and lifting the productivity and profitability of Australian agriculture.
The National Agricultural Leadership Program (NALP) and Young Farmers Council (YFC) will not be offered in 2026.
The Diversity in Agriculture Leadership Program (DiALP) is the flagship program of the National Farmers’ Federation. As part of the NFF’s 2030 Roadmap, the NFF has a goal to double the number of women in agriculture’s senior leadership roles by 2030. The program is designed to support this goal and increase the representation of women in leadership ranks of Australian agriculture.
The program offers unique experiences to increase women’s leadership knowledge and capability and opportunities to build networks within industry. The program is a mentoring opportunity, open to women with a connection to the sector and are passionate about being a part of the future of agriculture.
The National Farmers’ Federation (NFF) and Woolworths have partnered to bring to life the AgriEmpower Scholarship Program. A scholarship program investing in the future Ag changemakers who are focussed on innovation and lifting the productivity and profitability of Australian agriculture.
The program is targeted to 25 – 40 year olds and offers scholarships up to $20,000.
The National Agricultural Leadership Program (NALP) and Young Farmers Council (YFC) will not be offered in 2026.
NFF remains committed to fostering the leadership, skills and networks needed by the next generation of agricultural leaders. As we review our future programs and partnerships, we are exploring new opportunities to support young people across the sector.
While there are currently no plans to deliver NALP or YFC in their previous format, we are considering alternative approaches to leadership development and engagement that could form part of NFF’s future work.
We recognise the important role these programs have played in developing emerging leaders across the industry and appreciate the interest and support they have received over the years.
