The NFF’s 10 April 2012 submission to the National Water Commission Amendment Bill 2012 highlights that full implementation of the National Water Initiative is incomplete and this Bill provides flexibility to the National Water Commission to determine, in conjunction with jurisdictions and stakeholders, the most appropriate work program to deliver the high-level water reforms required.

The NFF’s 16 March 2012 submission to the 2011-12 Annual Wage Review encourages a close consideration of the argument that minimum wages should be set at a level sufficient to encourage labour force participation. The view of NFF is that the federal minimum wage should be increased.
