The NFF March Submission informs a DFAT inquiry into potential opportunities and impacts of a free trade agreement between Australia and the European Union. The EU is Australia’s last major trading partner without comprehensive trade negotiations. Australian agriculture is currently limited in its ability to export produce to the EU because of very low import quotas and high above-quota tariffs.
