The NFF’s 20 December submission to the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Legislation Amendment Bill 2012 comments that the assessment and registration process of agricultural and veterinary chemicals should be efficient, transparent and effective to reduce the cost of the process, however, the NFF is still not convinced that the current reform process will achieve a more efficient or effective
regulatory system for agricultural and veterinary chemicals. This was submitted to both the Senate Standing Committee on Rural and Regional Affairs and Transport and the House of Representatives Standing Committee on Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.
