The National Farmers’ Federation (NFF) welcomes the opportunity to provide a
submission to the Climate Change Authority’s 2020 review of the Emissions
Reduction Fund.
The Emissions Reduction Fund (ERF) is a central policy for the land sector’s
participation in emissions reduction activities, and has provided substantial
benefits for the sector since its inception. After 10 auctions, it is timely to review the operation of the ERF to ensure it is fit-for-purpose and the opportunities provided can be made for accessible to landholders, particularly in this current economic context.
