Twelve outstanding women with skills and a vision for agriculture were selected for the National Farmers’ Federation’s 2020 Diversity in Agriculture Leadership Program.
The Program matched the successful applicants with a mentor. With their mentor, each mentee establishes leadership goals, outlines steps to achieving these goals and puts, in place steps to measure progress towards these goals.
The Program is supported by leading agriculture-focussed organisations who have joined with the NFF, in committing to make meaningful change towards gender diversity within the leadership ranks of their industry.
The NFF has a goal to double the number of women in agriculture’s leadership ranks by 2030, outlined in the 2030 Roadmap here.
The graduation coincides with public pledges by 24 of Australia’s largest and most impactful agricultural organisations to achieve gender diversity within the leadership ranks of their organisations.
